About me:

I am a middle school biotechnology teacher working on building a network of private-public partnerships to create a vertically-integrated set of teaching modules for 6-12 biofuels education. I have a vision for creating a career academy around the theme of global sustainability that will allow students to participate in the solution to wicked problems related to energy poverty, environmental degradation and biomass consumption.

The Wicked Problem of Educating the Next Generation of Problem Solvers

I am a middle school teacher interested in challenging my students to think globally about the wicked problem of global climate change. I'd love to start a discussion about another wicked problem - how to educate for global awareness, systems thinking, and problem solving.
